How to Identify: 

Primary Test: The ISG is currently investigating several possible treatments being done to certain types of grossular garnet to create tsavorite colors in gems such as Merelani garnet. We will report on these findings as soon as they are ready to publish.

Secondary Tests: Under Research

Repair and Setting: We have no reports of problems with setting of these gemstones, or with normal repair procedures.
